The Young Composers Initiative provides an exceptional programme for young Malaysian composers to develop their talent, access mentoring and support from industry professionals and networks, and participate in a bespoke programme of workshops and masterclasses. It is open to any composer/musician under the age of 30 who lives, studies or works in Malaysia.
It provides young composers with an invaluable opportunity to work with experienced composers and peers from around the country. This initiative supports young composers in their early career stages, which are critically important to their development as composers. This initiative is specially designed to help emerging composers from diverse backgrounds, races, and genres.
