Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Sukol Sirisak completed his Bachelor’s degree at Silpakorn University under Professor Nakorn Kittiudom. He then earned a master’s degree from Mahidol University under Professor Maris Arent. He continued his musical journey with Miloslav Jelinek at the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
Over the course of his studies, he has taken part in many festivals and music camps, including the South-East Asian Youth Orchestra, the CISMA Music Camp 2007, the Asian Youth Orchestra, the Brno Double Bass Convention, and the 2nd Japan Contrabass Festival.
In Thailand and abroad, he has performed with well-known orchestras and chamber groups, including the Chulalongkorn University Symphony Orchestra, Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyushu City Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Million Wind Philharmonic and others.
Currently, he teaches at the Conservatory of Music at Rangsit University and the Western Music Department at Chulalongkorn University.
