Cheryl has performed recitals and concerts on both modern and period flutes in Singapore and abroad, including the US, UK, Europe, and Asia. She is currently Artist Faculty (flute) at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, her alma mater,  and an adjunct lecturer (flute) at NAFA. She was awarded the Clinton Lee Arrowood Memorial Prize for excellence in modern flute performance upon her doctoral graduation at Peabody Conservatory in 2014, after graduating with her Master’s from Manhattan School of Music. Since 2011, she has been part of the music faculty at SOTA since 2011 and is currently subject head of the IBCP, a programme that focuses on developing artistic excellence.
